Response: I very much enjoyed this book. The inner monolog was brutal at points though and super repetitive. There were times where one paragraph was an entire page, and it was all monolog. I wish I was exaggerating. The story was good overall. The dynamic between Clay and Elena was enjoyable to "watch" as she was coming to terms with accepting him and learning to be comfortable staying with him despite still being angry with him.
