This book is purely what the Goodreads description says: "Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated--scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court." It's all fluffy filler to get us to the next book where we get to explore more with Cassian and Nesta. Nothing really changes in this book other than Ferya and Rhys are trying to have a baby now. Nesta's still a ragging bitch, Elaine is still avoiding Lucian, Cassian and Aziel are still doing their jobs.

Tamlin's moping in his court and causing everyone to leave for other courts. Basically his whole court still hates him for how he treated Feyre, which is super ironic.

What is cute was Amren and Varian. They're pretty adorable together, especially spending Winter Solstice together. He's afraid of her and loves her at the same time. It's pretty perfect. I want a book of them though now.

I would recommend waiting to read this until Maas has book 4 published so you can read them back to back.
